

Mediqo is a digital healthcare platform that combines doctor booking, medicine ordering, and AI chat in one app. It helps patients find specialists, schedule appointments, and order prescriptions without switching between multiple platforms.
We designed Mediqo to solve fragmented healthcare experiences. Patients struggled to juggle different apps for booking, medicine, and records. We built a unified platform with simple navigation, clear flows, and organized health data that works from the first use.

The problems we had to solve
Healthcare felt fragmented and confusing. Patients couldn't find doctors quickly, got lost during booking, and struggled ordering medicines with unclear pricing.
- Hard to find the right specialist: Users couldn't quickly locate doctors by specialty and had to browse multiple screens or ask for help repeatedly.
- Confusing booking process: Appointment flows felt complicated with unclear date/time selection and payment steps that caused users to abandon bookings.
- Medicine ordering too complex: Cart and checkout processes had unclear pricing, hidden delivery fees, and confusing prescription upload steps.
- Fragmented experience: Patients had to switch between different apps for booking doctors, ordering medicines, and accessing medical records.
- No guidance when needed: Users had no AI assistance or clear help during critical moments like finding specialists or completing payments.

- AI-powered doctor discovery: Built an intelligent chatbot that recommends specialists based on symptoms and needs, eliminating endless browsing and guesswork.

Our UX design process for Mediqo
We worked with patients, doctors, and healthcare teams to understand real pain points before designing a single screen for Mediqo.

UX Research & Design Artifacts
We studied how patients navigate healthcare to find what blocks them from completing bookings, ordering medicine, and accessing records.
- Patient interviews with chronic condition users : Talked to patients managing ongoing treatments. Found that most struggled to locate specialists without browsing multiple screens or asking for support.
- Booking flow usability tests: Watched users attempt appointments. Discovered confusing date/time selection and unclear payment steps caused most to abandon before confirming.
- Medicine ordering observations: Tested cart and checkout with real prescription users. Found unclear pricing, hidden delivery fees, and complex upload steps blocked completion.
- Design deliverables created: Built patient personas, journey maps for booking/medicine/records, wireframes for all core flows, and high-fidelity prototypes based on real healthcare frustrations.


Visual Identity and Brand Story
Mediqo's brand feels trustworthy, calm, and modern, exactly what patients need when managing their health. The logo uses a medical cross with a rounded plus symbol, representing care and accessibility. Electric Violet and Jasmine Purple create a premium, trustworthy feel while white backgrounds keep the interface clean and clinical.
Each page has a clear layout. We applied icons, colours, and spacing to ensure that users are not confused. It is mobile-friendly and desktop-friendly. We also did some testing with real users, and we changed accordingly to what they said. Now, it’s smooth, quick, and easy for anyone to use.




Creating healthcare consistency
We built a design system to keep Mediqo consistent across mobile and web. The system uses Electric Violet for primary actions like booking and ordering, Jasmine Purple for highlights, with Aragonite White and Platinum for backgrounds and contrast. SF Pro Display, Onest, and Manrope keep text clear during quick healthcare decisions.
Components like doctor cards, medicine items, appointment slots, and medical record folders follow the same spacing and style rules. A 16-column by 8-row grid at 430px keeps layouts balanced. Everything scales across devices, making it easy for developers to add new features without starting from scratch. This keeps Mediqo looking trustworthy and professional as the platform grows.



We made a seamless healthcare UX journeys
We designed Mediqo so patients can find doctors, book appointments, order medicine, and access records without switching apps or getting confused. The home screen shows specialty categories with colorful icons, top-rated doctors, and a prominent AI chat button. Users tap a specialty, see available doctors with ratings and availability, and book in three taps. The AI chatbot answers health questions and recommends specialists based on symptoms.
Medicine ordering shows a clean cart with item details, refill counts, and clear pricing before checkout. Medical records organize files by type—X-rays, blood tests, diagnostic reports, with folder icons and file counts. Appointment booking uses visual calendars and time slots with instant confirmation. We tested every flow with real patients and fixed confusion points before launch.





Real result on healthcare platform
Mediqo launched with clear navigation, AI assistance, and organized health data. Patients completed bookings more quickly, ordered medicine with confidence, and returned to the platform regularly.
